I was recommended a visit to Spottieottiedopaliscious - yes, that really is the name of the place, but you should never judge a book by its cover, or indeed a town by its name - rest assured, it's neither Spottie, Ottie, or Dopaliscious.

Spottie (my affectionate shortening) is best enjoyed in the evening or late at night. It's an interesting city scape with roads sectioning off the tower blocks from the low-rise commercial areas, with various pockets of interest ranging from a fishing hut to a graveyard. (Yes, I understand that some folk deem graveyards a point of interest.)

Dress to impress with 'Bind', one of a selection of new tops from Lookr. Bind looks very different when worn without anything beneath, but here I've twinned it with Cami for a different styling. The contrasted wrap around design crosses low across the bust and splits into two sections at the back: in this muted grey, Cami sits neatly beneath, offering a little more cover back and front.

If you've been around the mainstore recently, you'll notice that a few things have changed! Fayne cut back on her shoe shopping, and we used the money saved to do a little refurbishment. Lookr never looked so good!

We've also been putting in a lot of hours with needle and thread and there are an abundance of new designs out on the shop floor. If you've not been in to see yet, you'll find everything from Summer knits to sexy new swimwear... too much to list, but read more for some extra pictures!

Loupe is our latest release, a delicate shrug that will add a touch of sophistication to any outfit. I was getting ready for a night on the town and decided to make up my own evening dress.

We're sorry for being away for so long: but we're back, with a the first of our new releases. 'Loupe' is a gorgeous silk-spun shrug top with draped back and sleeves.

With solid cuffs and trim, this lovely top is largely composed of hand-woven strands of thread. The detail is exquisite, the tight-fit shrug pooling into a delicate arc at the back, with the fabric falling loose beneath the arms. This should be seen in the flesh; fortunately there is a demo in store so you can view before you buy!
